Podzol Holding Corp. is a Victoria, BC holding company. We own and operate the businesses that provide the groundwork for what grows on top.
Why Podzol
Named for the soil under a Pacific Northwest forest.
A podzol forms slowly, in cool wet places, under conifers. Rain carries what the forest floor sheds down through an ash-grey layer and deposits it below, where it hardens into an iron-rich band. Nothing about it is fast. Everything about it holds.
That is how we think about companies. Each one we own does foundational work — design and hosting, incubation, security, training — that other people build on. We buy or start them, keep them independent, and give them the one thing a holding company can actually offer: time.
